Lydia Scarfò

Dr Scarfo received her degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Ferrara in 2006, with a specialization in Hematology in 2012 and Internal Medicine in 2017. In 2012, she moved to the San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milano where she is now assistant professor in Internal Medicine at Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele. She is involved in both preclinical and clinical studies and currently co-investigator in over 20 clinical trials in CLL and related disorders, including phase 1 studies; she is principal investigator in an observational study on quality of life in patients with CLL treated with novel agents. She successfully completed the Clinical Research Training in Hematology (CRTH) year 2016-2017, promoted by the European Hematology Association (EHA).
